JOIN AMERICANA HONORS & AWARDS SHOW, SEPT. 18 
 
Program to Air Live on AXS TV, NPR.org, SiriusXM's "Outlaw Country," and WSM with special edition taped for PBS/Austin City Limits, Voice of America and BBC2 
 
 
 
The Americana Music Association's Festival and Conference has revealed the full presenter and performer lineup for its 12th Annual Honors & Awards Show, presented by Nissan, which is set to take place on Wednesday, September 18 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
 
The event will include performances by Robert Hunter, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dr. John, Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, Richard Thompson, John Fullbright, Shovels & Rope, Milk Carton Kids, JD McPherson, Kelly Willis & Bruce Robison, Holly Williams and Duane Eddy. Original Buffalo Springfield members Stephen Stills and Richard Furay will also come together to play the band's iconic song "For What It's Worth," and third-generation musician Holly Williams will offer a tribute to her late grandfather Hank Williams Sr.
 
Americana fans can choose one of many ways to watch or listen to the spectacular lineup live from The Ryman Auditorium on September 18. The Americana Honors & Awards, presented by Nissan will be airing live on AXS TV (click here for local listing), NPR.org, Sirius/XM's "Outlaw Country" and WSM (7pm CT/8pm ET). "Austin City Limits," will broadcast an edited special November 23. Voice of America and Bob Harris of BBC2 will broadcast overseas in the following weeks.
 
The Honors and Awards Show will be hosted by Jim Lauderdale and will feature a house band led by Buddy Miller with Don Was, Larry Campbell, Marco Giovino and John Deaderick. Presenters include actor/musician Ed Helms, filmmaker Ken Burns, Rosanne Cash, Alejandro Escovedo, Jerry Douglas, Aoife O'Donovan, Billy Bragg, The Civil Wars' Joy Williams, Wilco's John Stirratt and Pat Sansone, First Amendment Center president Ken Paulson, Tift Merritt and BBC legend, Bob Harris.
 
In addition, Lifetime and Special Achievement honors will be presented to Dr. John, Duane Eddy, Robert Hunter, Old Crow Medicine Show, Stephen Stills, Chris Strachwitz and Hank Williams (accepted by Holly Williams). Click HERE for more details.
 
The Honors & Awards Show is the capstone event of the Americana Music Association's Festival and Conference, which will run from September 18-22. The conference and festival will feature daily seminars, panels and networking opportunities at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel. There will also be nighttime performances that bring more than 130 musical showcases to venues throughout Nashville. A full schedule can be found here.
 
The always cool, full of surprises event is open to the general public. A limited number of tickets, $65 and $85, are sill available through the Ryman Box Office, ryman.com. The purchase of a Conference Registration will include a ticket to the awards show.
 
Full Festival & Conference registration includes access to all panels and presentations; exhibit hall; invitations to all sanctioned parties; a ticket to the Honors and Awards Show and priority admission to the evening performances. Registration is currently $350 for AMA members and $450 for non-members.
 
Slated for Wednesday, September 18 through Sunday, September 22, the 14th Annual Americana Festival and Conference presented by Nissan will offer daily seminars, panels and networking opportunities at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel.  The nighttime performances bring more than 130 stacked musical showcases to key venues throughout Nashville.
