Pre Honors & Awards Happy Hour at the Hard Rock Cafe:
 
CMT Edge is hosting a happy hour on Wednesday from 5-6:30pm in the Reverb Room of the Hard Rock CafĂ© to celebrate the musical legacy of John Denver, with a tribute from The Infamous Stringdusters and many special guests. Attendees will also be able to view rare memorabilia from the John Denver estate, commemorating his love of songwriting, performing, and conservation.
 
Grimey's and The Basement:
 
Americanarama IV (the original) is back again by popular demand at Grimey's on Saturday, September 21 from 10am-8pm. Starting at noon, enjoy free live performances by Steelism, The Reneaus, Dexateens, Daughter, Autumn Defense, Willie Sugarcapps, and more. There will also be Mas Tacos and Smoke Et Al food trucks, regional craft beers, local vendors and a store-wide sale. Shuttle bus service provided from the Sheraton, Americana's host hotel.
 
And, in addtion, we'll have several in-stores throughout next week featuring Americana artists. All in-stores and the Americanarama VI concert are free to the general public, no wristband required! We'll have Tim O'Brien & Darrell Scott performing in the store on Monday, Sept. 16 at 6PM, North Mississippi Allstars on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4PM and Sarah Siskind will perform at Grimey's Too on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6PM.
 
Head back to The Basement on Sunday from 1-9pm for the Stagemothers Aussie BBQ! It's a day of marvelous music with a genuine Aussie Barbie, and you get to browse Grimey's vinyl heaven all the while. The music is free. The food is 'by donation' with all funds raised going to the Nashville Kangaroos, Music City's champion Aussie Rules football team.

On Thursday from 5-7:30pm enjoy the BreakOut West Party and showcase, featuring some of Canada's finest artists, cold beer and local food trucks, all at The Groove's backyard stage. Presented by Manitoba Music, Sask Music, and Alberta Music, performers include outlaw country road warrior JJ Voss, founding member of beloved trio The Wailin' Jennys, Ruth Moody (Red House), and folk festival favorite Joe Nolan (Six Shooter).
 
Join Lone Star Music Magazine and friends for their "Twang Bangin' Happy Hour" onFriday from 5-7:30pm at The Groove to celebrate Texas with music and drinks. Enjoy performances by Amanda Shires, The Bottle Rockets, Mike Stinson, and special guests. There will be free beer and Texas Spirits, Yamaha Guitar Petting Zoo and Mas Tacos.
 
British Underground's "Bootleg BBQ" is coming to The Groove on Saturday from12:30-6pm. This year as part of AmericanaFest you will be able to enjoy performances by Treetop Flyers (2:45pm), My Darling Clementine (3:30pm), Peter Bruntnell (12:30pm), and The Lost Brothers (2:00pm), all from the UK, as well as Nashville's Holly Williams (1:15pm) and Sturgill Simpson (4:15pm).
At The Second Fiddle and Nashville Crossroads:
The Outlaws and Gunslingers Luncheon presented by Six Shooter Records and Starfish Entertainment is back at The Second Fiddle for another year of back-to-back performances from some of Canada's finest roots and country artists. On Thursday from noon-2pm, enjoy performances from Joe Nolan, Daniel Romano, NQ Arbuckle and Lindi Ortega. Lunch never sounded so good!
 
Come back to The Second Fiddle on Friday from noon-2pm for Maton's "A Taste of Australia." Australia's leading music magazine and the makersof Australia's iconic guitars, invite you to come have a bite to eat and enjoy this year's outstanding Aussie showcase artists. You'll need to buy your own drinks, but lunch is on us. Plus the usual prizes of course.
 
Rootsy, the main Americana force in Scandinavia and a major player in Europe, is hosting"F**k Fake: The Second Annual Rootsy AMA Party" at Nashville Crossroads on Thursday from 5-7:30pm. Attend this party to hear performances by Swedish up-and-coming acts including Basko Believe, Ellen Sundberg, and Slow Fox, along with Americana legends Chip Taylor (with John Platania), Will Kimbrough, Chet O'Keefe, and The Mercy Brothers.
Back at the Sheraton:
 
Join Sounds Australia, Tamworth Music Festival and Sister Cities of Nashville for their 'Sister (Cities) Are Doing It...' Party on Thursday from 5-7pm in the Listening Lounge. Toast the June signing of the official twinning of "Music City USA" and Australia's "Country Music Capital." And of course win prizes!
 
Americana salutes Larry Groce and 30 Years of Mountain Stage on Friday from 4:00-5:00 in the Listening Lounge! Join us in celebration of the 30th season of Live Performance Radio that's been home to Americana stalwarts Guy Clark, Alison Krauss, Lyle Lovett, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Tim O'Brien and more over the years. We will toast Larry on his dedication and fill the room with very special guest performances by Tim O'Brien, Chip Taylor and more.
