SPOTLIGHT ON OUR 2013 AMERICANA EMERGING ARTISTS   We were honored to feature Shovels & Rope, John Fullbright, The Milk Carton Kids and JD McPherson at our Honors & Awards show last month at the Ryman in Nashville. If you missed the show, you have plenty of chances to see them LIVE!  Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent are Shovels & Rope (Photo by Erika Goldring, Getty Images) Shovels & Rope JUST ANNOUNCED, Shovels and Rope will be playing Nashville's Cannery Ballroom on February 24 and tickets go on sale today.  Click here for more information! After garnering two Americana Awards (Emerging Artist and Best Song, Birmingham) last month, Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent are now wrapping up a US tour at the Deep Roots Festival, Edisto Island Bluegrass Festival and NewOrleans' Voodoo Music Experience before venturing to Europe.   John Fullbright Americana and Grammy nominated John Fullbright will be opening for the Black Crowes tonight and tomorrow night (October 18-19) at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. John Fullbright (Photo by Erika Goldring, Getty Images) Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale are The Milk Carton Kids (Photo by Erika Goldring, Getty Images) The Milk Carton Kids Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale are back on the road with their fall 2013 The Ash & Clay Tour starting on October 24 with a notable Prairie Home Companion stop at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis on October 26.   It's a multi city tour with around 20 dates across the country wrapping at Largo in Los Angeles on November 16. Here they are performing "Hope of a Lifetime" at the Americana Announcement Ceremony in Los Angeles last spring. JD McPherson JD wowed us with his performance of North Side Gal at the Ryman last month.
