News recently broke that the band Ween was calling it quits - a fact which sent
the Twitterverse into a buzz for a moment. But, in the Americana world, it would
seem Ween's most resonant album was their '12 Golden Country Greats'. It was a
sort of tongue-in-cheek country effort which was decidedly not traditional country,
but didn't really fit soundly in any other genre, either. Now, a fellow named Mark
is wondering if there are any other albums out there like that. He calls it "fake
