AMERICANA ANNOUNCEMENTS IN LOS ANGELES FESTIVAL & CONFERENCE REGISTRATIONS ROOMS GOING FAST AT THE SHERATON HOTEL John C. Reilly AMERICANA IN LOS ANGELES The Americana Honors & Awards Nominee Announcement Ceremony took place last Thursday, May 31st from the Grammy® Museum’s Clive Davis Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Jim Lauderdale, who also played in the band led by Buddy Miller, was the Master of Ceremonies and the house band featured the insanely talented Don Heffington, Greg Leisz and Don Was.  John C. Reilly read the list of nominees ( to view video click here) and attendees were treated to some incredible performances by Shelby Lynne, Lucinda Williams, and Robert Ellis. The ceremony closed with a stirring tribute to Donald “Duck” Dunn, Levon Helm, Earl Scruggs and Doc Watson.
