Review of Jay Farrar's 'New Multitudes'
This year, you'll be hearing a lot about Woody Guthrie because 2012 would have been his 100th birthday had he not been taken down by Huntington's Disease. One of the big releases to mark the occasion comes from Jay Farrar (Son Volt) and friends, and it's a creative adaptations of some of Woody's lost lyrics. Check out my review.

This year, he's hitting the road as a duo with fiddler Rayna Gellert (Uncle Earl, Toubab Krewe) to deliver some sweet tunes from their new EP.
